About

Durand Systems is a company specializing in the design and development of horological and digital systems.

Here is the story behind the company and its founder.

It all began with Noé Durand, a passionate aviation and watch enthusiast, who started tinkering with old watches in 2023. Driven by creativity, he quickly began developing unique concepts, which led him to create his first brand, Dazzling Watches.

In December 2023, Noé invited his best friend, Léopold Bosmans, to join him on his watchmaking journey. Without hesitation, Léopold accepted, and together they founded Nopold Watches. Their ambition was clear: to offer timepieces that match the quality of major luxury brands, at a much more accessible price.

On January 16th, 2024, the first prototype of the NP-1 collection was completed, followed by four additional models. Each new design reinforced Nopold’s commitment to high quality and affordability.

In April 2024, with the desire to expand into new industries, Noé founded the Hourbane Group. Over time, the group diversified into several sectors, launching Nopold Aviation, vETF, Hourbane&Co Casino, and Hourbane Stream. This expansion later evolved into what is now known as Durand Systems.

By late summer 2024, Noé had a clear vision: to develop unprecedented horological concepts offering outstanding value for money. After five months of development, he introduced a groundbreaking watch under the brand Hourbane&Co, which he had officially founded in December 2024.

Hourbane&Co quickly achieved two world-firsts:

• Urbanium 1: the most customizable concept watch at the lowest price on the market.
• Urbanium 2: an original concept watch with an unrivaled price-to-innovation ratio.

In April 2025, Hourbane&Co faced supply chain and financial challenges, which forced the brand to withdraw its first two collections from the market. However, rather than stepping back, the company chose to focus entirely on a new and ambitious project: the Upside collection. The concept remains under wraps but is already expected to mark another world premiere.
